Hidden Mountain is collecting vocal recordings to build an instrument made entirely from human voices. Each person contributes the same sequence of notes, and every voice becomes part of the final sound.
You'll be asked to sing or hum 7 notes. For each note, you can listen to a reference tone before recording. Don't worry about pitch accuracy. What matters is your voice, not perfection.
If possible, use headphones or find a quiet space. The whole process takes about 3 minutes.
Getting a wider range of your voice makes a real difference to the final instrument. If you're up for it, we'd love a few more notes.
Your recordings will be used to create an instrument made from different human voices. This instrument may be featured in spatial installations, record releases, or other published works associated with this project.
